What We Do - Building Community

Building Community

History

Children’s choir sings at the annual neighborhood holiday festival, organized and partially sponsored by CTI.

CTI empowerment program participants are actively involved in organizing and actualizing this vibrant community event!

Collaboration and Celebration

CTI considers itself to be one of many vital social service agencies in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco. We strive to work in collaboration with those who provide food, shelter and healthcare to homeless and marginalized people. And we work to address an un-met need: the need for love, compassionate presence, and empowerment.

Project Homeless Connect

Project Homeless Connect

A great opporunity for new volunteers!

CTI is a regular participant at Project Homeless Connect (PHC)(www.sfconnect.org): every other month, CTI joins with over 1500 individual community volunteers to provide health and human services to the homeless and marginalized people of San Francisco. In this way, CTI continues to strengthen its connections with local service agencies that share our commitment to caring for those who reside in and frequent the streets of San Francisco’s poorest neighborhoods. The massage chairs of CTI practitioners are always filled at this day-long event!
